What "research peptides" means on this store

A peptide is a short chain of amino acids, the same building blocks proteins are made of. Short chain, in plain terms, means it is small enough to make in a lab and to check with lab equipment. The vials we sell hold a freeze-dried powder of one compound, made to a stated amount per vial and sent out with paperwork that says what is in it.

"Research use only" is not a slogan on the label. It is the whole scope of what we sell. These are laboratory materials for in vitro work. They are not medicines, they are not approved for people or animals, and nothing on this site tells you what a compound does in a body, because that is not a claim a supplier gets to make. Where we mention a study, it is third-party work published by someone else, and we say so.

What we do claim is narrow and checkable: which compound is in the vial, how pure the lab measured it to be, how much of it the vial holds, where it ships from, and what it costs. Every one of those is on a page you can read before you order.

How to judge a Canadian peptide supplier

Most of the buying decision comes down to six questions. They are the same six whether you are looking at us or at anyone else, and none of them is about how a compound performs.

1. Is there a third-party certificate, and is it per batch? A certificate of analysis, usually written COA, is a report from a lab that tested the material. The word that matters is "batch". A single certificate from a year ago says nothing about the vial in the box. Ask which batch was tested, and ask to see it before you order.
2. Does the batch number on the vial match the paperwork? A certificate you cannot tie to the thing in your hand is decoration. The lot on the label should appear on the report.
3. Who did the testing? In-house numbers are the supplier grading their own homework. An outside lab, named on the report, is the point of the exercise.
4. Is the stock actually in Canada? Plenty of sites that look Canadian ship from overseas. That means a border, a possible inspection, brokerage fees you did not agree to, and weeks of waiting. Ask where the parcel leaves from.
5. Is the full price visible before checkout? You should be able to see the price of the vial, the shipping cost, and anything else that will be added, without giving up an email address first.
6. How does the site talk about the compounds? A supplier describing research chemicals as if they treat, cure or improve something is making claims it is not allowed to make. That is a sourcing red flag, not a selling point.

How our testing works

We do not grade our own work. Batches go to an independent analytical lab, and we submit them blind, which means the lab is not told what result we are hoping for. The lab uses HPLC, short for high-performance liquid chromatography, a standard method that separates what is in a sample so each part can be measured. It reports two things: how pure the material is, and how much peptide the vial actually holds.

Those two numbers are the ones we publish. A batch that comes back below our purity bar does not go on sale. The certificates live on one page rather than being scattered around the site, so you can read them all in one place, tied to the batch they describe.

To be clear about what a certificate is and is not: it speaks to identity and purity, what the compound is and how clean it is. It says nothing about how anything behaves in a living system, and it is not meant to. Read the published lab reports.

What shipping across Canada looks like

We ship inside Canada only, from the Alberta warehouse, on tracked domestic services. Orders usually leave within 48 hours, Monday to Friday, apart from statutory holidays. You get a tracking number by email when the parcel goes out.

Shipping is a flat $20 anywhere in the country, and it is free once your order passes $140 after any discount. There is no separate handling fee and no fuel surcharge added later. Because the stock is already here, nothing clears customs and no brokerage fee appears at the door.

Our published estimate for standard service is 2 to 9 business days between major urban centres, and up to 13 business days to remote or non-major destinations. Expedited service runs about 1 to 3 business days between major centres. Those are estimates from the carrier, not promises from us, and they leave out the day the parcel is mailed, weekends and statutory holidays.

What to check when the parcel arrives

Two minutes of checking at the bench saves an argument later. Read the lot number printed on the vial and put it next to the certificate for that batch. The two should match. Check that the vial name and the amount on the label are the ones you ordered, that the seal is intact, and that the powder inside is a dry cake rather than a smear or a liquid.

Freeze-dried peptide is stored cold, sealed and out of the light. Vials are shipped dry, which is why they travel well, but they are not meant to sit on a warm shelf for weeks after they land. Once a vial has been made up into a solution it belongs in a fridge and it does not keep indefinitely. Repeated freezing and thawing is what degrades material fastest, so plan the work rather than the storage.

If something is wrong with what arrived, damage, a broken seal, a missing vial, email us within 72 hours with the order number and photos. That window is short on purpose: it is what lets us tell a shipping problem from a storage one.

How payment works

Payment is by Interac e-Transfer, the transfer built into Canadian online banking. Nothing is charged on the page. You place the order, and we email you the address to send the transfer to along with the amount, which is exactly the total you saw at checkout. The transfer goes to our own order-payments inbox, not to a third party, and no card details are collected anywhere on the site.

Payment is usually confirmed by email within one business day, and the order ships after that. If anything looks wrong, the amount, the address or a payment that has not been confirmed, do not send a second transfer. Contact us and we will sort it out.

Prices are in Canadian dollars. No sales tax is added at checkout, so the price plus shipping is what you pay. All sales are final, with one exception: if an order arrives damaged or defective, email us within 72 hours with the order number and photos and we will review it. The refund policy spells that out.

What it costs, and why we show the whole price

Every price on the site is the price. It is in Canadian dollars, it is on the product page before you add anything to a cart, and the only two numbers that can join it are shipping, which is flat and published above, and a discount if you have a code. Multi-vial packs show both the pack price and the price per vial, so you can compare them without doing the arithmetic yourself.

A price far under everyone else's is worth a second look rather than a fast click. Making this material properly, testing it at an outside lab and holding it in stock in Canada all cost money, and a number well below the going rate usually means one of those three was skipped. The honest way to compare two suppliers is per vial, with the shipping and the testing evidence included in the comparison.

The legal side, in short

Health Canada classifies a substance by what it is marketed for, not by its molecule. A compound sold and labelled strictly as a research chemical for laboratory use sits in a different place than a drug marketed for people, which is why the wording on this site is so narrow and why we will not answer questions about human use.

Canada also runs no licensing registry for research chemicals of the kind the United States has for scheduled drugs. Buying materials for lab work does not put you in a registry, and we cannot advise you on your own situation. You must be 19 or older to order from us.
